The rooms were clean and recently been renovated. The host was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend my friends.

We didn’t have a place to stay after hiking all day and really needed a hot meal, a cheap cocktail and a soft bed.  We decided on Shasta Pines because of it being a AAA motel and it looked ok from the road. The room was very clean and the host welcoming and kind.. PLUS there was the Outlook Steakhouse and Cocktail lounge right next door!!! It was perfect. In the morning we ate at Anna’s (great) and continued on our merry way.  Yay!

We stayed here to be close to family on a visit here.  We already knew we weren’t getting any phone service, sorry Virgin (sprint) but since we were next to the Micky D’s we did get free wifi.  very nice, clean, quiet and located behind a restaurant.  I highly recommend it for a one or two night stay.  The customer service was fine and the owners were very nice.  the size of the room was roomy, clean and had a mini fridge and microwave.  We plan to return for the next family get together.

Clean and nice, with all the basics.  We stayed in the newer portion of the motel.  The rooms were large, with a mini-fridge.  Beds were comfy.  Bathroom was tiny, but everything worked.  The carpet in our room could use a good steam-clean, but otherwise everything was in good shape.

Great place to stay if you’re not camping when you visit McArthur-Burney Falls State Park.  Don’t miss it — it’s amazing!

Comfortable. Nice staff. Good location. Hiker friendly. I would recommend this place for a comfortable place at a reasonable price.
